National Steamboat Monument Cincinnati

Did you know that the paddle wheel on the Riverfront is the "National Steamboat Monument" and that the Cincinnati Recreation Commission considers it an attraction?

It's somewhat interesting if you're down by the river, but I can't imagine taking an out of town guest down there just to see it.  Hopefully, with the Banks project finally on the move, there will be a lot more people walking around checking out things like this.

Here's an old Enquirer article about the 2.8 million dollar National Steamboat Monument.
