We were in Lexington, KY on Sunday and decided to visit the Parkette Drive In that is going to be featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
Unfortunately this is all we got to see, as the Parkette is closed on Sunday. Bummer.
Looking at empty spaces you can almost imagine what it was like in the 50’s on a crowded Friday night. There must have been places like this in Cincinnati in the past, but they’re all gone.
I saw this sign at the Ikea West Chester and thought it was a little odd. When you think crayfish, Sweden’s not the first place that comes to mind. But with a little Googling, I found from Wikipedia that indeed, Crayfish parties are held in Sweden. Kräftskiva is a traditional summertime eating and drinking celebration held in the late summer.
Everything you need to know about Sweden, you can learn at Ikea!
Wired.com: Video: Stormtroopers Storm New York Subway
I love this. The only thing wrong about this is that you can see the neck of the tall stormtrooper.

Australia contributes more greenhouse gases per capita than just about any other country, with its coal-fired power plants leading the way. But more than 10 percent of those gases come from what bureaucrats call livestock emissions — animals’ burping.
After posting yesterday’s photos of the Indianapolis City Market, I realized that I haven’t posted a few photos that I have taken at the Columbus North Market.
It’s a nice foodie market with a much different vibe than Cincinnati’s Findlay Market.

Yahoo Sports: Same youth team produced Strasburg, Leake
Wow! Stephen Strasburg and Mike Leake played on the same youth baseball team. They’re two of the best rookie pitchers in Major League Baseball.
I took a day trip up to Indianapolis over the weekend and encountered the Indianapolis City Market. It’s been open since 1821 and about to go through a major makeover. Which is good, because it’s nearly empty right now. It was still open when we got there, but there was not a single person inside that we could see. Kind of eerie. The market is very large and has the potential to be like the Milwaukee Public Market. or the Columbus North Market.

Examiner.com: The Contemporary Arts Center’s satanic mural
The mural on the side of the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) contains Satanic symbolism. This mural, perhaps part of an exhibit that long ago left town, is partially funded by your tax dollars.
This guy has mistaken Shepard Fairey’s Andre the Giant image for Satan. The comments in the story are pretty funny, especially from Satan.
