I can’t believe how many McCain ads I have already seen on TV. Who’s managing his campaign? The election is 5 months away, and he’s spending large on TV ads in Ohio? The one I saw last night basically said “I was a prisoner of war, and I love my country”. OK… And?
My only guess is that McCain feels like he needs to do something now or he’s going to get blown out in November. I think the ads aren’t very effective either. Everyone already knows his position on Iraq. It’s pretty irrelevant that he “hates war”.
