Lane Bryant, my guide to the internet

UPDATE: I’ve been told by a commenter that the model is Sage Salzer, not Kate Dillon.  I appreciate the information as it’s always important to know accurately who you’re being haunted by.  So, in the paragraph below, Sage is my internet friend and companion, not Kate.
Article about Sage Salzer

You know how some people are haunted by ghosts?  I think I’m being haunted by Lane Bryant banner ads, especially the one with the woman wearing a bra.  After doing a little research, I think she’s Kate Dillon, a well known plus sized model.  I guess there are worse things in the world than being haunted by Kate Dillon, so I’ve decided to just accept this as the way things are.  Now, I half expect her to talk to me like some futuristic avatar.  Anyways, here’s Kate and I giving you a tour of the internet.

Nope, that’s not Kate Dillon – it’s Sage Salzer, also a Wilhelmina Model, also a redhead, but Sage is a size 14/16, compared to Kate’s lean and mean size 12.
    Have a good day!

Thanks for the information. I’ve updated my entry with it. They look surprisingly alike!

Is it possible someone who uses your computer went to lanebryant.com? If so, you were cookied & are being retargeted to; it’s an online marketing strategy. No personal information is tracked; just the fact that you visited lanebryant.com is triggering these ads via advertising networks like advertising.com.
OR, perhaps you exhibit behaviors similar to a plus-size woman 🙂

I checked my cookies and there is indeed a lanebryant.com cookie. How I got the cookie, I have no idea. But, I have hundreds of cookies in my browser. It seems strange that when I visit the NY Times or any other site, that it would find my lanebryant cookie amongst all the others I have and decide that these are the proper ads to show.

A friend of mine sent this to me and I just had to say hello. Or should I say…..BOO!
    Happy Thanksgiving!
